Assistant Brand Manager
The following position is open in London, United Kingdom.
This role will have strong focus on digital and social media and will primarily deliver support for the execution of the digital strategy across all key markets for Sipsmith. Interest in digital marketing will be essential for success in this position.
Role Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the Marketing Manager (MM), Senior Brand Manager (SBM) and local markets in the delivery of the overall global brand strategy to achieve the brand ambition.
DIGITAL AND SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING
Content:
Own the Sipsmith social media Calendar across owned platforms and earned media.
Support the SBM in developing engaging and creatively brilliant always-on brand and campaign assets including social & eCommerce
Ensuring best in class execution by assisting in key asset development for brand channels such as creative assets, comms assets, sales tools
Manage photo shoots and content development
Media:
Working with the SBM, develop media toolkits for markets to leverage assets and media best practices.
Relationship Management:
Work collaboratively with the media agency, digital and creative agencies to deliver engaging responses to consumers across social platforms to encourage them trust and choose Sipsmith every time.
Deliver concise and robust briefs and feedback to agencies on ongoing content delivery.
Reporting & Analysis:
Contribute to campaign reports in a timely manner, take best practises per market and deliver recommendation to other developing markets.
DIRECT TO CONSUMER CHANNEL (D2C)
Executional Excellence:
Support the SBM in delivering DTC business objectives.
Work with the SBM to brief and develop best in class user experiences across both the UK and US websites
Manage the bi-annual release of the Sipping Society. Including managing the team, content and launch strategy
Brief and review Search Engine Optimisation articles to drive greater organic traffic across UK & US sites.
eCRM:
Develop and maintain the ongoing eCRM calendar in collaboration with SBM and local markets, driving increased engagement with the brand both online and offline.
Ensure creative excellence and increased conversion objectives are met.
Reporting:
Contribute to ongoing performance and analytics reports and use findings to influence content strategy in order to get more eyes on the Sipsmith brand.
Work with Customer Service Team to inform of upcoming campaigns, website development and FAQs to best arm the team and maximise customer satisfaction.
PR
Develop brand education & advocacy programs as well as identifying trade engagement opportunities within key initiatives
Assist the SBM and MM in identifying and creating our impactful global partnerships
Internal Comms:
Own the internal communications relationship, raising awareness of the brand’s marketing plans and execution within the wider business
DAY TO DAY:
Support in managing the Global brand budget – raising POs and invoices, meeting with brand and finance teams on a regular basis to ensure that brand house is efficiently using budget.
Support the Marketing Manager and Senior Brand Manager in the global business planning cycle to deliver globally applicable campaigns
Represent the brands at key events and meetings – internal, distributor/market, consumer events
Other tasks assigned by line manager
Qualifications
A background working in a marketing role (Desirable)
Marketing or Business degree, or equivalent experience
