The role will include support duties for the commercial & shopper marketing function. Sales Analyst will play a critical role in collating & analyzing customer data, creating insights that support driving sales & marketing metrics across customers base, drive rate of sale in strategic locations, increase productivity with customer & consumer satisfaction. Sales Analyst role will support GTR Retail Execution team on both tracking & measuring and ultimately achieving its goals in key focus areas: In-store execution of Outlet Standards (6Ps), Process management, delivery of marketing plans in strategic locations and insight generation. The role will also be supporting the global commercial excellence projects based on the GTR strategic objectives

Role Responsibilities

  • Be an active member of the Travel Retail team, develop a good understanding of the overall sales/ marketing plans and commercial business cycle, contributing with fresh ideas & initiatives.
  • Support Commercial, Shopper Marketing & Retail Execution teams with the implementation and update of Outlet Standards across strategic GTR locations.
  • Develop and maintain scorecard tracking based on 6P at airport and store level based on external data inputs: Brand Ambassadors’ reports, Shelf Track tool, customer depletion, category data and other external sources.
  • Track & report marketing plans are executed on time & in full at the point of sale based on Outlet Standard guidelines.
  • Process external retail data, develop actionable insights & track monthly progress against targets and Outlet Standards KPIs.
  • Support Sr Brand Ambassador Excellence Manager with Brand Ambassador platform implementation and tracking.
  • Partner with Retail Execution and Commercial teams to ensure the integrity of external data is complete, accurate and provided on time.
  • Attend customer meetings and support with insights to deliver the growth ambition and excellence in execution at the point of sale.
  • Support Retail Execution team with ad hoc analyses, including – channel/location deep dive, distribution footprint, promotion & pricing analysis, product availability reports, Global launch plans etc.
  • Support various commercial excellence projects based on Global priorities and market strategy.

Qualifications

  • Good Commercial understanding
  • Able to partner well cross-functionally and in a diverse team
  • Strong presentation & analytical skills with ability to identify connections and deliver insights
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and use initiative to solve problems
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain extensive knowledge regarding regions, territories, product range, accounts and GTR Retail environment
  • 3+ years prior experience in customer planning, shopper marketing, sales analyst roles
  • Able to work with vast set of data
  • Able to demonstrate analysis leading to insight
  • Expert in Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / PowerPoint)
  • Experience with PowerBI (report building) is a plus
