We are currently seeking a Work Broker to join our team in Bangor, Washington (US-WA), United States (US).
Job Duties:
Directs, coordinates, and schedules the repair and maintenance for assigned home ported and deployed submarine units during inport maintenance and voyage repairs in Bangor, WA. Provide technical expertise in submarine mechanical, electrical, electronic repair including SUBSAFE requirements, seawater systems, steam system, atmosphere control, Radio, Radar, Navigation, Sonar, Fire Control, and electric plant equipment. Confers with management and other department heads to plan preventive maintenance programs and to schedule inspections in coordination with other operating activities. Monitor, review and process all work requests from assigned units, and work with assigned units and repair facility to develop and create the availability critical path work schedule. Track all critical path work during availabilities. Prepare and present presentations to the maintenance team for availability and voyage repair planning.
