In line with Richemont MEIA strategy and objectives, the Security Operations Manager, is responsible for both on a local level leading and on a regional level supporting the development of the following:
Physical Security
Travel Security
Crisis Management & Business Continuity
Cyber Resilience support – as deemed necessary
The job holder develops, implements and upgrades the Regional platform’s strategy, policies, risk and compliance management operations and provides advice to the Regional management and Maisons to prevent loss or damage of human, physical and intellectual assets in relation to risk exposure.
The job holder is assisted by a team to meet their responsibilities. Additionally, the job holder is responsible for the team’s management and development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Security structure
Structure the security and HSE organization through external suppliers in ZA & IND while supporting management teams UAE, TUR and KSA.
Be accountable for the formulation, implementation, monitoring and compliance of the Group’s policies, systems, regulatory requirements, procedures and standards related to Security and H&S
Manage local risks and propose mitigating measures when relevant in alignment with Group Security’s Integrated Risk Framework, systems and processes.
Work effectively with key stakeholders to ensure that physical security and HSE goals and objectives are embedded within the business
Animate your community with regular and formalized communication with a focus on enhancing social media presence.
Ensure that adequate induction and training is provided to local security and HSE representatives
Be directly involved in strategic projects or structural issues in the markets
Monitor risks for incoming and/or outgoing business travellers, ensure coordination with stakeholders and advise on preventive measures
Ensure that emergency response plans are available and tested for emergencies such as earthquakes, adverse weather, fires, crime, threats or terrorism
Ensure that Richemont Incident Management Team is set-up, maintained, trained and exercised.
With the support of other specialist functions, coordinate the response activities and stakeholders in the event of major incident or crisis.
Identify business interruption scenarios impacting critical activities and services
Formalize relevant business continuity plans and implement necessary arrangements and solutions
Review HSE Key Performance Indicators and scorecards provided by H&S team.
Ensure that roles and responsibilities are well-defined in each Market
Establish and implement the specifications, standards and requirements for security equipment and systems, and to ensure regular maintenance and servicing by the vendors through close collaboration with facility management team
Work effectively with third party suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of both security guidelines and project goals. This would include producing specification for pieces of work and the ongoing quality assurance of this work.
As required, manage and assist in conducting investigations of significant threats and/or the loss or misappropriation of assets.
Support regional Physical Security related projects and support Group Physical Security related projects as required.
Maintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology and update management on risks and threats that could impact company business in addition to full understanding of company insurance structure including consulting with insurance companies if required.
New constructions and renovations
Develop and implement methodology
Follow and/or supervise all new constructions and renovations projects
Submit concepts to regional head for Review and/or validation
Submit exception requests and compensatory measures where required
Events security
Develop and implement methodology
Ensure proper notification of events to the insurance brokers when required
Submit security concepts for major events and manage the implementation
Relations with external security suppliers
Ensure effective collaboration with multi-market external security suppliers
Assess the quality of the multi-market security suppliers
Transportation of funds and goods
Ensure that roles and responsibilities are well-defined in each Market (eg. split between Logistics and Security functions)
Support, control and validate the implementation of the relevant directive and exceptions
Business traveller’s process
Monitor high and extreme risks incoming and/or outgoing business travelers
Ensure coordination with stakeholders
Advise on preventive measures and validate exceptions
Training
Develop and implement training programs to ensure that all employees are properly trained on all aspects of Security, as described in more detail in the Group Policy.
This duty will include taking all necessary steps to ensure that all training programs will be updated and revised to reflect any changes to all applicable requirements and standards.
Incident management
Implement and animate local incident management teams
Coordinate bridge calls
Advise decision makers on business continuity and other security-related matters
