About the role:
The Principal Financial Analyst acts as a Business Partner to Neuromodulation Management and Divisional Finance teams. This person will support the FP&A monthly financial close, quarterly planning and forecasting processes, and provides monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis of spend. Position reports to the Sr. Finance Manager and has high visibility to the Neuromodulation Senior Staff, as well as interaction with other regional finance groups across the organization.
Your responsibilities include:
- Perform all aspects of the monthly financial close including generation of monthly and quarterly management reporting and variance/trend analysis.
- Supports the annual planning process for the functional areas of responsibility including coordinating with the various functional groups to develop operating expense budgets and providing analytical support to identify key business drivers.
- Manage the quarterly forecasting process including coordinating with the various functional groups to develop operating expense budgets and providing analytical support to identify key business drivers.
- Support decision-making process to enable profitable growth
- Support regular and adhoc reporting and presentations to local management.
- Identify and drive cost saving opportunities across the SG&A functions.
- Quickly respond to numerous ad hoc queries from internal customers (including Senior Management).
What we're looking for:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 7+ years of relevant FP&A experience
- MS Excel and PowerPoint required, financial tools (Hyperion (Oracle), SAP) preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong financial analysis, communication, organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adhere to tight deadlines

The anticipated annualized base pay range this full-time position working at this location will be from $100,700 - $191,300 plus variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target2 (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements) and the value of core and optional employee benefits being offered at Boston Scientific (BSC), which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. BSC considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs. Actual compensation may be otherwise adjusted if the position is filled outside of the intended geographic location.
