Engineering Team Leader

The Opportunity…
As our next Engineering PMO (Project Management Office) Team Leader reporting to the Engineering PMO Branch Manager, your mission is to lead the charge in successfully navigating the intricacies of the RD (Responsible Designer) Contract and Nuclear Services Contract, whilst also supporting the project needs of HPC’s Technical Directorate (TD). Your primary focus is to ensure TD’s activities not only meet but exceed expectations. This is done by your responsibilities being delivered with precision safely, on budget, and on schedule, all while upholding the highest standards of quality.

Alongside a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 - £70,000, depending on experience, we’re dedicated to offering flexible benefits that support our people across all aspects of their lives. This role will be based on site working at our Aztec West building in Bristol 3-4 days a week with flexibility of home working the other 1-2 days. There may also be a requirement to attend other offices/stations as well as international travel to meet with our key stakeholders on a business need basis.

Who you are…
In this role, we’re looking for you to utilise your previous experience of working within Project Management or Project Engineering on large or complex engineering or construction projects. Taking your previous experience along with your organisational and communication skills, coupled with your coordination and leadership abilities, make you a natural fit for collaborative success. Embracing your communication skills, we’re also looking for you to be comfortable with building strong relationships and effectively managing stakeholders.
With a strong understanding of quality requirements, your decision-making and issue resolution skills, budget and commercial awareness your skills will be paramount in this role. Your knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM and Nuclear Site License requirements, assures us of your commitment to excellence.
