What you’ll be doing…
In this pivotal role as an Issue Resolution Architect, you'll take ownership of coordinating and managing technical issues, ensuring successful resolutions through proactive engagement and meticulous planning.
Additionally, you'll create and deliver comprehensive project board packs, develop technical work requests, and review reports with a keen eye for detail. Your responsibilities also extend to investigating challenges, supporting organisational learning, and ensuring effective escalation and resolution of identified issues. Other responsibilities also include:
- Proactively engage with stakeholders to plan and deliver solutions and with this, maintain a strong stakeholder network across various technical teams in HPC
- Coordinate output from multiple workstreams and act as the single point of contact for progress reporting
- Create and deliver monthly IR Project Board packs for Director/Head of Function-level audience
- Investigate potential challenges, risks, and issues to define problem statements
- Ensure appropriate and timely escalation of issues while monitoring the delivery of approved solutions and maintain mitigation plans
- Perform other tasks as instructed and agreed with the Issues Resolution Safety Case Manager
Who you are…
We’re looking for you to hold a degree, or equivalent, in a relevant field such as engineering as you will need to utilise your technical knowledge for these complex topics. Another ability we’re looking for you to have, is the confidence to engage in a collaborative environment at HPC, leveraging your leadership skills to coordinate diverse stakeholders and manage change effectively.
Other requirements for this role also include:
- An understanding of UK nuclear safety cases
- Capability to manage change in an evolving environment
- Ability to lead and co-ordinate a wide group of stakeholders using a structured approach
- Able to co-ordinate a wide variety of technical information from diverse sources
- Competence in quickly understand a wide range of technical issues and make robust decisions
- Ability to motivate teams to perform to a high level
- Able to self-motivate and show initiative to complete own work
