Key Responsibilities:
- Follow Appropriate GE Policies, Procedures and complete necessary documentation.
- Comply with the integrity and compliance guidelines as well as promote a safe working environment
- As part of a centric minded squad, installation and maintenance on customer's equipment be it Turbines, Generators, Auxiliaries.
- Develop an understanding of Engineering documents and processes
- Develop an understanding of all aspects of mechanical engineering measuring techniques to high tolerances.
- Develop experience in Large Turbine, Generator and Auxiliaries
- Perform other suitable duties as assigned or required.
- Work under strict Foreign Material Exclusion rules.
Qualifications/Experience :
- Experience in mechanical engineering.
- Travel to and from various field assignments.
- Basic IT Literacy
- Full Driving License
- Fluent in English language
- This position will be subject to Nuclear vetting
- Achieved or working towards NVQ in Mechanical Studies preferred.
- Power Plant experience.
- Demonstrates individual & team skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience and training on Alstom, GE, Siemens or other OEM equipment would be an advantage
