Grounds/Countryside Maintenance Manager

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to support the business in delivering our grounds maintenance and habitat contracts across HPC Construction site and associated sites. The manager will continue long term relationships whilst developing our people and our business. Based in Nether Stowey, the successful candidate will be an experienced and proactive manager, who is able to offer management and support to our client. This is an exciting opportunity to both develop new business and maintain existing client relationships. Directly managing supervisors and the teams, you will monitor the progress of work, taking quick and effective action to maintain health and safety, high productivity, customer satisfaction and profit targets.
The Person
Candidates will require Grounds maintenance knowledge with a minimum of 2 years multi-site management experience in a similar role. A UK drivers licence is essential. Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards, whilst maintaining effective control of costs, programming and monitoring of work are all pivotal to the role. Working to clear procedures you will ensure all work meets quality and safety standards as well as ensuring that all permits and RAMS are up to
date and approved. In addition, you will need good time management and administrative skills, and show leadership coupled with excellent communication skills.
