The Opportunity...
EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) established in 2023, is responsible for delivering the design for a number of Nuclear dedicated buildings, systems and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project through an integrated team, support to HPC construction and commissioning activities, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project. Therefore, a Technical Directorate is being created, responsible for the engineering disciplines and technical expertise required to deliver the different engineering projects through integrated teams in EPR-E.
For the SZC Project, work on the replication strategy and some early design studies are already underway and being delivered and managed from both France and UK.
As a Cost Controller, you’ll be part of the Sizewell C Project Control office responsible for monitoring cost, timely delivery, project execution and measuring the overall performance indicators. In this role you will be consolidating financial data of the Nuclear Service Agreement of Consortium members.

What you’ll be doing…
- Generating comprehensive reports comparing consolidated actuals versus forecasts for Sizewell C Nuclear Services Agreement (SZC NSA) costs, turnover, and profit.
- Providing detailed variance analysis in the reports.
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of reports to the NSA Project Director, to the project client SZC Co, and key EDF Group stakeholders, including EDF New Nuclear Finance Department and EDF Group Finance Division.
- Producing and analysing NSA cash flow statements and consolidated revenue reports.
- Consolidating financial indicators such as ETC (Estimate To Completion) and EAC (Estimation At Completion) at NSA level.
- Consolidating data for intra-annual reforecasts and mid-term plans as required by EDF New Nuclear Finance Department and EDF Group Finance Division.
- Collaborating with the NSA Cost Manager to prepare for the Consortium Costs Committee, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Who you are…
Your background may include some of the following:
- Master’s degree in engineering or management.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- At least one year of experience in cost control.
- Knowledge of Power BI for effective data visualisation and analysis.
- Familiarity with SAP.
- Knowledge of French would be advantageous.
