The Opportunity…
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
We are looking for a Commissioning Control Centre Manager to join our Commissioning and Operations (CommOps) Team and be responsible for running and overseeing the coordination of planned and emergent CommOps activities within the HPC Operational Control Centre (OCC).
In your role, you will help enhance the OCC process and the organisation as the rate of system handovers increases, and commissioning activities become the primary activities at HPC. The OCC shall eventually evolve to the HPC Outage Control Centre, on the approach to nuclear fuel delivery and commercial operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the most exciting projects in the UK, as we take Hinkley Point C from it’s construction phase, into commissioning and beyond.
