Chief Engineer - Electrical
Location: Gloucester, flexible home and office working supported.
Salary: Upwards of £85,000 per annum dependent on experience plus 10% bonus, car allowance, private health insurance, and many more benefits.

The Opportunity...
We are recruiting for a Chief Electrical Engineer, who will be responsible for providing overall strategic technical leadership within the discipline. This will involve the oversight and application of technical standards, codes, specifications, methodologies and best practices used in the design, assessment, manufacture, testing, construction, commissioning, maintenance and operation of Electrical Plant and Systems at Hinkley Point C.
You will act as technical authority and provide senior support in decision making, mitigation of technical risks, and resolution of issues arising. You will provide senior level support in maintaining a strong relationship with internal and external regulators.
As a Chief Engineer you will oversee the project lifecycle and ensure safety strategies are in place to address the changing phases of the projects and once completed you will be supporting operation of the Nuclear power station. You will be also responsible for ensuring routine evaluation and industry best practice benchmarking of projects and assess the need for intervention or improvement.
