Supply Chain Operations is part of Vestas' growing and developing Service Business Unit. The department runs our warehouse operations, the backbone of our supply chain, in our Mediterranean (MED) sales business unit. Our MED Warehousing & Operations team supports the business by securing timely availability and reliability on delivery of spares, main components, and tools. We are now looking for a Logistics Coordinator to be mainly in charge of the operations in South Africa and Kenya and provide support to a different region if needed.
Responsibilities:
As Logistics coordinator:

You will be responsible for ensuring that all Vestas Supply chain processes are known and applied by all storekeepers in all SBU warehouses.

You will assist in the inventory counts, process trainings and actions plans to get the results defined by the annual targets (OTIF, Stock accuracy, safety conditions, ....).

You will visit frequently the SBU warehouses managed by the storekeepers under your responsibility.

You will be frequently in contact with other members of Med SCO in English language.
Main KPIs:

Coordinate all WH activities.
-
Support the SSK with daily issues.Ensure all equipment are certified on date.

Ensure that the warehouse is effective, productive and lean.

Coordinate return activities for DEF and Surplus.

Create and follow Non Conformities.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with:
-
Knowledge about order management processes and flows.
-
At least 3 years' experience working in industrial warehouses.

Advanced SAP and Excel user and Intermediate MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Highly developed communication skills, both verbal and written (in English).
