Senior Manager Portfolio & Business Growth North America drives the pipeline and profitable growth of our sales in Meat, Fish & Cheese alternatives in North America by bringing capabilities and solutions together, while further shaping the plant-based platform and strategy in this segment.

Your key responsibilities
- Drive new business development in the plant-based space for all dsm-firmenich solutions with customer intimacy at core and strong alignment with regions/segments
- Help to build pipeline, challenge pipeline development and co-design the Meat, Fish & Cheese Alternative regional strategy
- Co-build and maintain value propositions with taste and ingredients solutions teams, including market-relevant demo’s
- Act as ambassador to push in all plant-based solutions where relevant and ensure proper project/opportunity follow-up, pulling in the right resources/expertise
- Attend customer meetings where required, in close collaboration with dsm-firmenich sales team, focusing on combined solutions and ingredients or flavors not yet sold to clients
- Act as innovation launch managers for new products/technologies
This position is eligible for the dsm-firmenich Hybrid Working model, spending 2-3 days per week in the Plainsboro, NJ office and the balance of the week in a home office that is commutable via car to Plainsboro.

You bring
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Sales, Technical Sales and/or business development roles in food ingredients required
- Strong technical understanding of the plant-based ingredients space; experience in strategy development and execution is a plus
- Strong commercial drive with strategic & analytical thinking
- Openness towards different parts of organization and willingness to embrace the “category of one” thinking
- Ability to act as an ambassador of change and lead by influence
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
