Enzyme Modification Specialist/Flavorist

We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Flavorist to join our Flavors Division at our facility in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Key Responsibilities;
- Per Customer Request or project brief - lead project team and manage creative briefs to meet project objectives with little/no management supervision. Ensure timely and quality brief execution
- Keep abreast of latest technical knowledge in terms of dairy and non-dairy flavor ingredients, formulations and processes through networking, interacting with suppliers, study and training
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers as needed. Provide ongoing support in the development of winning dairy tonality collections; lead tonality selection team as assigned.
- Possess strong ability for EMD product matching, understanding of analytical analysis for development
- Work with Sales and segment leaders to maintain relationships at our customers and participate in a team-selling approach. Interface with other support groups at DSM-Firmenich, e.g. Regulatory, Sensory, and Industrialization to ensure project success
- Has ability to collaborate with colleagues in other regions, working on international projects
- Adhere to good creative practice, formulating with a vision of reducing complexity while producing high quality, winning EMD flavors that meet profit objectives.
- Maintain organized and efficient laboratory equipment and environment. Maintain records for easy retrieval and clarity
- This individual has the responsibly to work across the organization as a team player, demonstrating leadership and strong collaboration

You Bring:
- BS degree in Food Technology, Chemistry or Life Sciences with 7+ years in creative function and with a minimum of 3 years creating winning flavors
- Membership in Society of Flavor Chemists a plus
- Solid Project Management experience
- Proven ability for learning new computer/software systems
- Ability to build & maintain strategic working relationships
- Solid communication skills
