Continuous Improvement Lead
Role Description
This role is integral in sustaining and enhancing the performance of production by improving targets using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Continuous Improvement (CI) techniques. Reporting to the Plant Director, this role optimises plant processes to improve quality and has responsibility for projects, from cost-saving initiatives to business investments.
Key Responsibilities
• Embed an effective structure to our continuous improvement approach across the plant, providing support and coaching to help the departments deliver their targets.
• Analyse and optimise plant wide processes using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Continuous Improvement (CI) tools.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and support the delivery across site.
• Engage with all departments and stakeholders, identifying improvements focused on meeting targets.
• Identify areas of cost saving/quality improvement by adopting new methods of working.
Requirements
• Engineering qualification preferable.
• Proficient in Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Continuous Improvement (CI) techniques.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
• Ability to problem-solve with a flair for innovation.
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written, at all levels of the business.
