Position Summary:
Responsible for painting various sized parts in a timely manner while maintaining exceptional quality.
Responsibilities:
- Paint various size and shaped parts;
- Complete any necessary inspection worksheets;
- Accurately utilize the company’s Business Management Software (ERP);
- Maintain little to no re-work or scrap;
- Safely operate fork trucks and overhead cranes;
- Plan and execute daily and weekly scheduled tasks;
- Support EH&S tasks and initiatives; and
- Other duties as assigned
Experience / Skills:
- 2 - 5 years’ experience spraying wet paint;
- High attention to detail and quality;
- Able to plan and execute daily and weekly scheduled tasks;
- Able to keep work area clean and organized;
- Able to lead or provide direction to peers within paint department;
- Must work well under pressure; and
- Excellent team player with organizational and time management skills.
Nonessential skills and experience:
- Safety (OSHA STDS), ANSI (RIA) Standards.
