Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Senior Analyst – Special Projects to work in our Finance and Accounting Department located in London, Ontario. This highly motivated and results oriented individual will be involved in special projects, liaise with key project stakeholders on an ongoing basis and deliver results according to projected deadlines. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager – Business Analyst
Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Analyst, Special Projects we’d ask you to do the following for us:
• Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats
• Analyzes the feasibility of, and develops requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users and business
• Take leadership role in working with key project stakeholders (Finance, IT, Business Transformation, Operations)
• Knowledge of business and financial processes
• Develop test plans, build test cases and perform testing, including troubleshooting and propose solution
• Maintains system protocols by writing and updating procedures
• Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
• Ensure the user requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented
• Provide user documentation and training
• Project post implementation support
• Assist IT developers with enhancements on future builds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Work well under pressure with multiple concurrent deadlines
• Perform other duties as required

• 2+ years’ business analyst experience in an accounting and/or technical environment
• Post-secondary education and/or training background in Information Technology
• Resourceful with strong project management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must have strong computer skills; proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Able to work in a fast paced environment; great at managing multiple tasks and deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of professional interaction with various levels of operations and other department managers
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Detail oriented and willingness to delve into problem in order for successful issue resolution
• Able to work overtime when required
• Positive with "can-do" attitude!
