Job Summary
As Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for purchasing, warehouse, and inventory management activities. This includes implementing best practices and driving supply chain process improvements.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Maintain "show quality" of all areas at all times.
- Establish rapport with team members, management and partners
- Understand all menus, product offerings, packaging and pricing
- Achieve assigned budget goals
- Monitor inventory procedures for accountability
- Contribute to the completion of required department reports and assist in compiling information at month-end closing
- Ensure team members adhere to Levy Company policies
- Promote a cooperative work climate, maximize productivity and morale
- Ensure all products are properly stored, rotated and dates in accordance with Levy guidelines. Employ good safety and sanitation practices
- Interview, hire, train, and develop team members according to Levy guidelines
- Other responsibilities, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality or similar is preferred
- High level of computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
