Job Summary
As the Concessions Staffing Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing current labor models, leading to the development and implementation of a staffing plan comprising scheduling, recruitment, and training to optimize labor efficiency in the location. It will ensure compliance with all State and Federal requirements pertaining to hourly labor.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with concessions department managers to identify current and future hiring needs
- Drive reduction of reliance on temp labor and increase internal hired
- Develop and manage relationships with all NPO groups to provide a variety of avenues to staff location
- Collate, interpret and analyze data for strategic workforce planning and measurement of business impact
- Ensure effective management of labor spend, temp spend and labor to sales ratios
- Support major events and new business openings
- Develop and maintain location staff grids
- Ensure consistency of Levy branding across staffing campaigns
- Other duties as assigned
- Ensuring all stations are set up and ready for events
- Ensuring the timely implementation and communication of promotions
- Ensuring accurate end of month inventory completion
- Managing product transfers and requisition sheets to accurately track products during events
- Managing and resolving guest complaints
- Managing team member incidents/accidents and following all required reporting procedures
- Completing a monthly department safety inspection
- Monthly safety training conducted for team members
- Managing team member scheduling in line with demand forecasts
- Verifying payroll, entering gratuities
- Subcontractor communications - ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and submitted, scheduled properly, staffing has completed all required pieces of training, etc.
- Completing events walks of the building
- Supporting other properties and departments as demanded by the business
- Job Requirements:
- 2 + years previous experience with staffing in a hospitality space
- Experience managing large scale projects
- High level of computer literacy
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
