Job Summary
Beaver Street Food Co is hiring for a Premium Catering Manager to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, excellent team management skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality. We are the food and Beverage vendor for OSU Athletics. This position helps with catering events for various groups throughout the year, sporting events, catering athletes' meals, and other exciting opportunities.
The position reports to our Senior Premium Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Sr. Premium Manager for catering events (FOH)
- Manage Suites during Football games
- Manage and train staff members to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company policies
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle client inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely delivery
- Additional tasks as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of Associate's Degree preferred
- Two to four years of fine dining restaurant management experience is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in restaurant management or hospitality management is required
- Knowledge of banquet operations, catering, and POS systems
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
