In order to support us on this journey we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Team Lead for our UK and South & West Europe Region to join our awesome global Talent Acquisition Services team for an initial 6 month FTC.
As Talent Acquisition Team Lead you will support the Head of TA Operations in the management of a team of recruiting professionals across the UK and Europe, ensuring efficiency and service quality in everything you do, as well as contributing to our TA roadmap to embed new ways of working.
The role will require you to commute to our Fareham and Havant office's on a regular basis and you must be able to under go BPSS Clearance.
In this role, you will be:
Supporting a team of Talent Acquisition Partners, both internal and external resources, to deliver efficient, effective and consistent high quality recruiting services
Supporting hiring managers and all other stakeholders to deliver an exceptional recruiting service
Supporting in continued Talent Acquisition improvements globally by being responsible for the communication with stakeholders within your region
Contributing to the ongoing development of team members and the TA service in order to improve quality of hire and reduce time and cost of hire
Working with our business stakeholders to understand future demand and business priorities to enable a proactive, customer-focused hiring approach
Collaborating with Talent Acquisition Operations Lead as well as peers from other regions to standardise, optimise and harmonise existing recruiting processes and identify opportunities to create efficiencies and role clarity for our key stakeholders and customers
About you
We are looking for an experienced talent acquisition professional with a customer-focused, collaborative, communicative and innovative mindset. Ideally you will have;
Expertise of UK & Europe specifics on talent acquisition matters with extensive experience in an in-house TA role, ideally in a large complex international business
Finds the positives in the negatives, searching for solutions to challenges
Experience of leading, developing and coaching large virtual teams
Empathic, having the ability to put yourself in the shoes of our Wärtsilä colleagues to think what would serve the whole company best
Experience in driving continuous improvement and transformation projects from root cause analysis, project planning, content creation to delivery
Influencing, collaboration and customer orientation skills
Analytical mindset and experience of data-led decision making
Excellent spoken and written English skills; you would be part of a global team and English is our company language. Other European languages would be beneficial.
Positive change management attitude, and ability to inspire and encourage others around you
Security Cleared (BPSS level)
Based within commuting distance to Fareham (Southern England)
