Senior Technical Support Engineer, Services
We are now looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer, Services to join our Service Technical Support Team working to enable a sustainable marine industry. The preferred location is Poole, Dorset, UK.
What you will be doing in this vital role, your work will focus on:
- Providing expert technical guidance and support to services teams, customers and stakeholders
- Developing comprehensive product/systems knowledge to resolve issues effectively.
- Contributing insights to improve customer service, efficiencies and profitability.
- Mentoring and training other team members to enhance capabilities.
- Investigating non-conformities through root cause analysis and collaborating with product owners
- Recommending solutions to drive continuous improvement of product quality.
- You'll tackle diverse technical challenges daily while having the support of our exceptional team. We need an engineering professional who can work independently while being a consummate team player.
To be successful, we expect you to have:
- Higher engineering qualifications (HNC/HND minimum, degree/master's preferred)
- Exceptional technical communication abilities and customer service skills
- Proven skills in troubleshooting, problem-solving and identifying opportunities.
- The drive for continuous learning across our products and the marine industry
- The ability to mentor/train others and work cross-functionally.
