As a Supply Planner at Ferrero, you'll play a crucial role in setting and managing inventory plans and replenishment requests, ensuring optimal stock levels and freshness for our iconic brands. You'll collaborate closely with central planning teams, 3PL providers, and demand planning colleagues to align inventory cover and stock positioning with market demands across the UK & Ireland. You will proactively anticipate, and address supply challenges such as new product launches, factory shutdowns, and promotions, keeping our supply chain running like a well-oiled machine.
In this role, you'll also take ownership of reporting on factory and network supply performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance results. Your analytical prowess and strategic mindset will contribute to the success of our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless product availability and customer satisfaction.
Oversee planned inventory levels for all manufactured items, including those imported to the UK from within the Ferrero group in mainland Europe, with the goal of maximising service levels while ensuring the best possible freshness.
Work together with 3PL partners and transport teams to strategically position inventory across our UK & Ireland network, striking the perfect balance between picking availability and warehouse capacity constraints.
Assume accountability for supply planning data within SAP APO, including formal weekly production requests, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our planning processes.
Conduct weekly and monthly performance monitoring and reporting across the entire supply chain, providing valuable insights to drive continuous improvement.
Effectively and timely communicate priorities, issues, and criticalities to all relevant stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
Balance shared stock between sales channels to maximise availability and freshness, ensuring every customer gets the Ferrero experience they deserve.
Coordinate range changes, new product launches, and product delists between Marketing, Demand Planning, and Sales teams, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal outcomes.
Develop service protection plans to cover major known events, anticipating and mitigating potential disruptions before they occur.
Proactively communicate potential surplus stock and collaborate with demand planning to eliminate it through commercial opportunities, minimising waste.
Own a detailed continuous improvement action plan, driving process and performance enhancements to elevate our supply chain operations to new heights.
A formal advanced mathematical qualification is preferred, showcasing your exceptional numeracy skills.
Ability to effectively communicate, engage stakeholders, and build lasting relationships.
Experience with complex, multi-tier planning systems in the FMCG sector, demonstrating a keen analytical mindset.
Proven proficiency in data modelling, with advanced skills in Excel/Access to analyse and interpret data effectively.
Demonstrated experience in collaborating across various levels of an organisation, even in environments with significant responsibility but limited authority.
Highly organised individual capable of managing multiple sources of information efficiently.
