Your future role

 

The Alstom Services Engineering is expanding rapidly, and the teams are growing to concentrate on spares sales & other Material Solutions type business generation in the UK using their experience in Services to develop solutions, create opportunities for growth & convert those into orders.  The Materials Systems Solutions Manager role involves To manage the customer relationship, in terms of maximising Order Intake, Revenue & Margin.  This will include developing capture plans, putting together compelling service offerings, negotiating with customers & producing & managing formal documentation.

 

We'll look to you for:

 

  • Being responsible for managing the relationship for designated customer accounts, as well as proactively seeking out new customers.  This will include developing a thorough understanding of the customers’ future requirements, as well as their issues & frustrations that could lead to upsell opportunities.  All aimed at maximising OI, Revenue & Margin.
  • Maximising FCF by working with designated customers & Customer Support Assistants to minimize any overdue debt & inventory levels & helping to progress orders internally, as and when required.
  • Meeting any governance requirements, including updating Salesforce, provision of forecasts, budget information etc
