This role sits within the John Lewis Partnership Collective (John Lewis, Waitrose & John Lewis Finance). It bridges the team that service clients and the team that delivers digital activation. In the digital planning which ensures all the work completed by the digital activation teams is in close alignment with John Lewis’s overall communication objectives
In that sense, this role would suit a candidate with both an interest in client servicing, and passionate about the digital media landscape.
Our John Lewis Partnership Collective is an integrated team of Client Partners (planners and account mgmt), investment, digital and social specialists.
About you
This role requires an enthusiastic, proactive, self-starter with ideally some prior experience of working within account management and paid media channels
Eager to learn how to respond to client briefs, managing campaign timings to ensure activity goes live on time.
Have an inquisitive mind and ability to digest data to work to provide insights across competitive and audience data.
You will have experience working collaboratively within a team
Without question your attention to detail is sound, and you are a conscientious worker
You will have: a passion for brands; the ability to deliver great work; have fantastic interpersonal skills; and be curious and passionate about the UK media marketplace.
Coordinate the timely delivery of campaign responses and day to day management of client requests
Good understanding of media marketplace including media owner landscape, who owns what etc.
Good knowledge of all media channels and how they work and complement each other
Ideally you will have some knowledge of key systems including DDS, Ad Intel, TGI, Touchpoints, Mediatel
You will be confident on MS Office esp. PowerPoint and Excel.
Be able to understand and take responsibility for managing day to day finances on individual clients liaising with finance teams.
Be able to keep a cohesive and up to date timeline to track all outstanding tasks (e.g., PO tracker, Tags tracker etc).
Ultimately this role needs someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and who strives to deliver best in class work.
