Your Role:
The Megasys Operations Manager is an on-site position in Austin, TX and leads a team of ~50 people responsible for Gas operations. This role is responsible for long-term planning to create initiatives that further the company’s overall goals. The Megasys Operations Manager drives cross-team collaboration to foster exchange of ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities. In this role you will inspire and motivate employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives. You identify opportunities to expand or shift course in order to take advantage of changes in the market and are responsible for communicating shifting company priorities and projects with the team, customer, or other senior officials.

You have the ability to communicate with both executives and staff employees in order to create and administer policy. You have a thorough understanding of financial and budgeting processes and principles to assess the company’s earnings and spending to find areas for improvement. You have strong personal and professional judgment, that are applied for hiring decisions as well as in finding the best solution to organizational dilemmas. You are adaptable with ability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly. You have strong organizational and time-management skills with the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, which are essential to a role that juggles a variety of functions and projects. You can think strategically and see the “big picture” to address top-level concerns pro-actively when possible. You have worked in environments with sensitive information and demonstrated professional discretion, and informational controls to ensure confidentiality.
