Your role: As Senior Corporate Counsel in the Life Science legal department, you will serve as a valued business partner to a range of groups within the Process Solutions business of MilliporeSigma, which offers a broad portfolio of cutting-edge technologies, tools and services for biopharmaceutical manufacturing customers. You will provide a full range of legal support for these groups, including drafting and negotiating various agreements, providing guidance to management on relevant legal and business matters, reviewing, evaluating, and advising internal clients on business opportunities and process improvements, identifying and mitigating risk, coordinating and leading outside counsel for vital topics, and training colleagues and internal clients on related legal issues and standards. You may also provide support for company/department priorities. The position will be based in the US.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a US qualified lawyer working at large law firm or multinational corporate legal department
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with customer-facing negotiations
- Experience in commercial contracting matters and international business transactions
- Professional communication in a diverse, matrixed organization and a pragmatic approach
- Flexible thinking style and adaptability that enables you to succeed in a fast-paced environment requiring collaboration with multiple partners
