Your Role:

 

The Inventory Control Operator – 1st shift maintains the movement and flow of material throughout the Cleveland facility. Specific job duties include:

 

  • Shift hours:  Monday – Friday 6:30am – 2:30pm
  • Pulls materials via Transfer Orders (TO’s) (Production, Packaging, Shipping, and Waste)
  • Fills requisitions for materials and supplies for various departments and distributes items throughout the facility accurately and within established time requirement
  • Identifying and stagging materials for offsite storage
  • Cycle counting adherence
  • Audits shelves to ensure inventory and correct product
  • Weekly rack inspections
  • Trouble shooting inventory issues
  • Carefully move materials and items in a timely manner to storage or other designated areas by means of operating a tow motor and/or other similar equipment.
  • SAP system upkeep - Complete inventory movement transactions on the computer within 24-hours of each inventory move and assists in maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Organizes and maintains a clean and orderly work area in accordance with the administrative General Housekeeping policy/procedures
  • Performs shelf maintenance in stock areas
  • Identifies facility damage, and promptly notifies Manager, EHS
  • Actively participate in a proactive safety culture, identifying hazards, making suggestions for improvement, coaching coworkers on safety, and working incident-free
  • Responsible for following general personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements as established by company policy
  • Follows ISO9001/14001/45001 Management Systems
  • Miscellaneous duties and tasks as assigned

 

Physical Attributes:

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted

 

Who You Are:
 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly driven, self-starter
  • 1+ years of inventory or warehouse experience
  • Knowledge of SAP
