Job Description
The role is for a commercial lead reporting directly to the Managing Surveyor on a live £17m housing project, comprising of 85 Units located in Ipswich, Suffolk. The successful candidate would be required to be based on site at least 3 days a week with the remaining 2 days either on site or in our head office (Swanley)
As Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will make an immediate impact from day 1, and will utilise your previous experience in surveying and costing a range of jobs which contribute to the £20m annual turnover of an actively expanding part of our business. Day to day responsibilities within this role will include:
- Producing valuations and payment applications
- Surveying projects and providing accurate pricing to ensure that works are carried out within budget and we can meet our timeframe commitments
- Identifying changes to works information and costing variations
- Cost reporting
- Subcontract account management
