United Living Infrastructure Services is made up of our three subsidiaries, United Living Energy Limited, United Living Water Limited and Great British Communications.
United Living Energy is a UK gas and energy engineering specialist offering design, build and maintenance on critical national infrastructure for the UK gas asset owners. United Living Water Limited provide a comprehensive range of water infrastructure services covering all aspects of pipeline networks including investigation, design, planning infrastructure maintenance, mains rehabilitation, new connections, metering and repairs. United Living Fixed Line Telecoms provide construction of networks including cabling, splicing and testing on networks.
Purpose:
To be responsible for the identification and scoping of water main diversion works as per the client’s requirements.
This role is to further develop the client’s water main diversion scoping and delivery process. This would be achieved by interpreting the client and contractor’s requirements, designing and scoping the best possible solution taking into account all external factors.
Specific Responsibilities:
· Surveying of new schemes to identify risks and construction techniques for pricing
· Design process producing construction design drawings for construction schemes, liaising with client
requirements while complying with technical standards
· Produce the design solution and scope of works documents.
· Ensuing all planning criteria have been met including CDM regulations
· Liaison with client regarding network requirements
· Undertaking site meetings with client, highway authority and subcontractors
· Identifying subcontractor requirements
· Producing scheme construction programmes of the schemes to comply with client and highway
authority requirements
· Liaison with highway authorities to identify and comply with street works requirements
· Identify any customer communications that will be required
· Effective communication with all stakeholders
· Ability to work under pressure
