Job Description
Ensure that all works are carried out to a high standard, right first time and within the given time period. As a groundworker, you will carry out numerous repairs each day, that are planned ahead as routine appointments. Works will vary in scope, from timber/concrete posts, domestic fencing, closeboard, featheredge, or larger scoped works.
You must be:
· Committed, punctual, reliable and flexible.
· CAT trained and aware with experience on how to use CAT Scanner equipment. In house training will also be provided.
· Have the ability to work as part of a team and to work on their own.
· Have Health and Safety awareness and knowledge.
· Have a proven ability of general grounds maintenance and fencing
· Social Housing experience preferred but not essential
Please note: The role is Brighton based reporting to our Portsmouth Hub
Qualifications
· Strong organisational skills, including material ordering, multitasking and time management.
· Experience with electronic job updating through smart phones essential with ability to use a PDA and IT equipment to record job information
· Hold a full UK driving license.
A competency assessment will be requested upon interview stage.
