Job Description
To assist in the installation of telecommunications sites, adopting a customer-focused approach to the client and their representatives.
- Carry out installation activities on towers, roofs and hard-to-reach places observing all safety measures, using all necessary personal protective equipment and techniques for working at height.
- Work at height comfortably and in accordance with safety procedures
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair telecommunications sites
- Assist in the reporting on the progress of sites throughout the day, including completing End of Day Reports (EODR) and Hand Over Packs (HOPs).
- Grow capabilities in Rigging and any other skills as required – electrical, civils or otherwise.
- Ensure all work is in accordance with GBC policies and procedures, as well as Health and Safety policies.
- Work towards building other technical skills and abilities e.g. civils training etc. to become a multi-skilled telecommunications engineer.
- Any other duties as assigned

- Take reasonable care of yourself and any other person who may be affected by your actions and omissions
- Adopt a positive attitude, cooperate and assist the company in all aspects of Health, Safety and the Environment
- Understand and help to implement all relevant health and safety policies and arrangements based upon the policies.
Qualifications
- Health and Safety Qualifications
- Valid Driving Licence
- Pass on Working at Height Medical
- Relevant ‘Rigging Passport’ Qualifications

- Must be highly computer literate including Microsoft Office and confident in managing and working with large data sets
- This job is a full-time permanent role, 8am-5pm Monday to Friday from our Widnes Office
- Opportunity to spend time in and working closely with other departments will be provided to ensure the successful applicant gains a wide depth and breadth of experience and understanding of the company and industry
