MAJOR DUTIES:
· Responsible for assigned HR tasks in support of the Cambridge Life Sciences HR team.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide general HR support to the Cambridge Life Sciences HR team.
· First point of contact for employee inquiries. Responds to questions regarding HR policies, guidelines, practices, employment verifications and benefits.
· Contractor management:
· Schedules and facilitates contractor and new hire orientations. Organizes new hire kits for full time and contract hires.
· Assists with onboarding activities, including monitoring, and ensuring completion of new employee training, onboarding checkpoints and required documentation.
· Prepares and updates presentations, communications, reports, and other requests for data as required.
· Input and manage data for HRIS; as well as files in shared directories/HR Portal
· Ensure electronic directories are up-to-date and archived data is stored appropriately
· Prepare monthly metrics, including Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting as required
· Support internal/ISO quality audit preparation.
· Monitor and develop training modules on ATS Learn (online training documentation system) to record ILT training documentation
· Coordinate HSE training sessions and recording of training records
· Assist with campus tours, scheduling, and coordination of special events, and with organizing and supporting company-sponsored/employee events
· Update and maintain annual performance review process requirements – assist with launching forms, moving, or closing appraisals, loading divisional and employee goals.
· Assist with the periodic review, update, and upload of job descriptions
· Assist with the ATS Service Award program for employees
· Compile, maintain and process all incoming department mail
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS code of business conduct.
· Adhere to ISO departmental procedures
· Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
· Perform other support duties as assigned

· Report any accidents/incidents to supervisor
· Assist in investigating accidents/incidents
· Refrain from engaging in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running, or rough and boisterous conduct
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
· Completion of a post-secondary degree program specializing in human resources.
· University Degree in a related discipline and/or CHRP designation would be an asset
Experience:
· 1 to 3 years of related experience
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Strong communication stills - ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business and employees, both verbally and in writing.
· Business acumen and professionalism – maintains confidentiality critical to the Human Resources role.
· The ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance in a team-oriented environment.
· The individual must demonstrate initiative, innovation, and the ability to pick up on tasks quickly.
· Shows intuition, resourcefulness, thrives in a fast-paced environment and can meet critical deadlines.
