The role
As a Electronic Academic Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll deliver training in Electrical and Electronic principles at an international defence company.
Day to day, you’ll deliver high quality training in line with Company standards and contractual requirements joining a team of electronic trainers. No previous training experience required as we will look to develop your industry engineering skills into the training delivery role with full training delivered at your place of work to achieve Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training.
- To deliver academic technical and laboratory assignment training modules, including mathematics to engineering trainees
- Assist in maintaining and updating training documentation
- Assess trainee course work and provide feedback on performance
- Ensure Company security, health, safety and environmental procedures are implemented and complied with at all times
Essential experience of the Electronic Academic Trainer:
- Previous knowledge in the application of electronic and electrical engineering theoretical and practical instruction.
- Qualified to NQF level 6 in a related engineering subject
- Consolidated experience or directly employed electrical and electronic engineering principles.
- Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
This is a full time role based on our Gosport site.
Qualifications for the Electronic Academic Trainer:
- Minimum qualification at level 6 on the National Framework in an engineering discipline
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
