The Role
As a BIM Engineering Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will work as part of our rail business supporting our expanding civils design team.
Day to day, you’ll prepare quality 3D BIM models and engineering drawings on a wide variety of engineering projects.
• Integrate 2D & 3D models with including typical and bespoke objects
• Produced detailed and accurate engineering drawings from 3D models
• Collate all relevant documents including drawings and specifications
• Assist senior staff in the production of technical reports
This role is full time, with a hybrid working arrangement.
Essential experience of the BIM Engineering Technician
• Good amount of practical CAD experience
• Design experience from within Civil, Structural environments preferred
• Must have experience of using Bentley MicroStation
• Experience of AutoCAD
Qualifications for the BIM Engineering Technician
• HNC / HND level qualification in relevant engineering subject
• Member of a professional institution desirable
The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
