The role
As a Site Supervisor - Facility Management, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Providing an effective, safe functional and compliant environment, that provides training provision for the next generation of military pilots and support staff.
Day to day, you’ll manage a small team of onsite delivery resource to provide a suitable and functional environment, hosting a mix of synthetic flight training devices, and live flying training. You will ensure that contracted services are delivered on time, to budget and to a suitable quality that effectively supports customer core business outputs and maintaining legal compliance. You will support the business unit commitments to health & safety by promoting a positive health and safety culture and effective application of the safe system of work.
You will take ownership of statutory compliance and the implementation of commitments identified within site management plan which may include but not limited to:-
- Legionella Management
- Site Security Plans
- Fire Management
- Asbestos Management
- Snow & Ice Planning
- FGAS Management
- Mechanical and electrical system statutory compliance
This role is based on site at RAF Shawbury
Essential experience of the Site Supervisor - Facility Management:
- An understanding of electrical and mechanical knowledge maintenance is desirable
- Team management
- A good level of communication skills
- Ability to read risk Assessments.
- Excellent IT Skills
Qualifications for the Site Supervisor - Facility Management:
- Recognised Health & Safety Management qualification - IOSH Managing Safely desirable
- Full UK driving licence
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
