The role
As a Business Assurance Officer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. It is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Cavendish Nuclear success by supporting senior leaders in ensuring excellence across the business. You will join us in delivering a robust system of assurance and be a key player in our dynamic team.
Day to day, you’ll support the Senior Business Assurance Officers in the delivery of their responsibilities:
Establish and maintain the strategic approach to Assurance for Cavendish Nuclear
Establish and maintain the Assurance Process and related arrangements.
Establish and maintain a three year look ahead planner of Assurance Reviews
Be the primary focal point and drive the delivery of the Assurance Programme for Cavendish Nuclear Maintain an action tracker for actions related to Assurance Review Findings and Recommendations
Establish, maintain, and report Key Performance Indicators related to the delivery of the Assurance Programme including trends.
Establish, maintain, and report Key Performance Indicators related to the risks and opportunities identified through the delivery of the Assurance Programme including trends.
Provide coaching and support on Assurance related matters at all levels across the business.
This role is full-time. The successful candidate can work compliantly from any Cavendish Nuclear site or location on a hybrid basis.
Essential experience of the Business Assurance Officer:
Experience in business management or project governance
Strong knowledge of project lifecycles and business reporting
Relevant and recent industry experience
Qualifications for the Business Assurance Officer:
HND or HNC in an appropriate discipline or appropriate level of experience
Degree level qualification preferred
Membership of an industry professional body
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
