The role
As a Scaffolding Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be leading and managing a scaffolding team for the delivery of Engineering work packages. You'll be ensuring the delivery of objectives in terms of safety, cost, time and quality requirements, using technical capability to plan and schedule packages of work.
Day to day, you’ll lead and direct a team of non-industrials to achieve their part of the project and all operations business performance metrics;
• Ensure all documentation is reviewed and ready at commencement and throughout each work package.
• Implementation and promotion of the Company Safety, Quality and Environmental policies during projects ensuring that assessments of risks are carried out which lead to safe working attitudes and practices.
• Work with the Delivery Manager to manage team development and performance of the Delivery Team
• Create and maintain an environment of continuous improvement and employee participation, with a focus on developing and employing standardised systems and processes throughout and across future projects.
This role is full time and will be based at HMNB Clyde, near Helensburgh.
Essential experience of the Scaffolding Supervisor -
• Engineering Supervisory experience.
• Awareness of Risk Assessment use and management
• Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders simultaneously in a dynamic engineering environment

Qualifications for the Scaffolding Supervisor:
• Advanced scaffolder and inspection Gold Card in a relevant engineering discipline
.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
