The role
As a Fitter Turner Trainer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Delivering high quality training within our military site at Gosport. Please note no prior training experience required as we will look to develop you into the role.
Day to day, you’ll deliver training in Fitting & Turning modules as directed by the department.
- Conduct tasks within skill set as directed by Department Training Manager
- To assess student course work and provide feedback on performance.
- To be responsible for the duty of care/progression of trainees during the delivery of training.
This role is a full time permanent position and will be based at Gosport
Essential experience of the Fitter Turner Trainer:
- Experience of using lathes/CNC machines
Qualifications for the Fitter Turner Trainer:
- Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
