The role
As an Aircraft Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Supporting all aircraft engineering, line, and depth maintenance.
Day to day, you’ll assist in the ground movement of aircrafts, as well as:
Carry out Flight-line operations i.e., Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, “see-in” and “see-off”, fuel and oil replenishment. Daily Check A maintenance.
Undertake scheduled and corrective maintenance of the LAFT Aircraft fleet.
Pre-use checks and Scheduled Maintenance of Company owned Ground Support Equipment.
Complete “all” documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedure.
This role is part time and based onsite at RAF Wittering.
Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
Driving Licence.
Aircraft engineering experience.
Knowledge of MOD Engineering procedures/documentation.
Qualifications for the Aircraft Technician:
Recognised Aircraft Apprenticeship, Military experience or NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve the minimum of a SC security clearance for this role.
