The role
As a Document Controller, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be responsible for the management and handling of documents under supervision, primarily in non-complex situations within the Pile Fuel Cladding Silo (PFCS) Project.
Day to day, you’ll register and capture of documents in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) – including Cavendish, client or any relevant sub-contractors documentation
- Review of document formats, coding, and adherence to checking & approval processes for signatures
- Circulation of documents for review, information, acceptance etc.
- Provision of daily/weekly and monthly status reports.
- Archiving, closeout and handover at project completion.
This is a full-time role with 37 hours per week based in Warrington, Cheshire. Hybrid working arrangements, 2-3 days onsite per week.
Essential experience of the Document Controller:
- Extensive recent and relevant experience in a similar environment / business sector
- Awareness of various contracting methodologies (eg FIDIC/NEC3/JCT etc…)
- Advanced knowledge of document management techniques
- Experience of various document management toolsets
- Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out Cavendish Nuclear
Qualifications for the Document Controller:
- Relevant qualification in Information Management
- National Diploma in Business Admin (Level 4) or equivalent qualification
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
