The role
As an Industrial Blaster, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be a part of a team who strip, clean, de-paint and overhaul support of Military vehicles.
Day to day, you’ll work on any Military vehicle that comes through by stripping and cleaning machine parts, jet washing vehicles and parts of the vehicle.
- Carry out work to the required standard and specification as detailed on the job card
- Completion of equipment documentation, test certificates and reports to current standards
- Ensure stores and equipment issued to job are used for their correct purpose
- Any un-used or new faulty material is returned to the section or department Supervisor as soon as it is identified
- Inform the Supervisor of any issues which directly affect the repair process and any additional work to the task which is not detailed on the job card is deemed necessary to complete the task
This role is full time 37-hours, 4-days per week Monday -Thursday and will be based at Bovington on site.
Essential experience of the Industrial Blaster:
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to work to timescales
- Must be physically able to carry out some heavy lifting for certain points of the role
Qualifications for the Industrial Blaster:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
