The role
As a Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll manage the customer and associated management of the project including identification and monitoring of project risks (threats and opportunities).
Day to day, you’ll support project assistants with the management and delivery of several (Circa 80) on-going enquiries and orders received into the spares and kitting department.
- Supporting the project management process for our kitting projects.
- Deliver key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery, including schedule, financial and risk functions.
- Support the development of accurate and up-to-date financial reporting to support business reporting to senior management.
- Manage the planning, monitor and control of work packages being delivered by other internal and external resources.
This is a full-time role with 37 hours per week, based at our Radar Road site in Leicester, with hybrid working from home arrangements.
Essential experience of the Project Manager
- Extensive recent and relevant experience in a similar environment/sector
- Ideally some experience in delivering design projects
- Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out
- Awareness of various contracting methodologies (e.g. FIDIC/NEC3/JCT etc…)
Qualifications for the Project Manager
- APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) (previously APMP) working towards.
- IOSH Managing Safely or higher safety qualifications preferred.
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
