The role
As a General Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Babcock is a trusted provider of integrated solutions for global defence and security. Day to day, you’ll supervise a small team of estate and household maintenance workers including Health and Safety, as well as:
- Develop maintenance procedures policies, and schedules for both household and estate maintenance teams.
- Maintain technical and administration records and provide information as required.
- Be able to Undertake both estate and household maintenance as required.
- Evaluate estate and buildings to determine necessary maintenance work.
This role is full time and based onsite at Skelton.
Essential experience of the General Maintenance Supervisor:
- A comprehensive knowledge of current safe working practices and safety procedures
- 1-2 years’ experience of general building maintenance and cleaning techniques.
- Basic Computer skills including email, Word, and spreadsheets.
Qualifications for the General Maintenance Supervisor:
- Possession of a current full UK driving licence.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve DV security clearance for this role.
