The role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be embedded within one of our key programme or project teams and be integral to achieving high-performance delivery to our global defence and security customers.
Day to day, you will undertake various functions including scheduling, cost control, risk management and procurement alongside working with stakeholders from across the team, and wider business, to help drive delivery momentum and achieve the project goals. As part of your role in Mission Systems we are looking for someone who can collaborate with a variety of functional teams across multiple discipline areas.
Essential experience of the Assistant Project Manager:
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Experience in a project management environment
- Confident collaborator with experience working in partnership
This role is full-time and based onsite at our Ashchurch site.
Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager:
- PFQ and/or PMQ qualification or equivalent (desirable) other formal qualifications acceptable
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who holds current, valid SC clearance and has the ability to achieve DV security clearance for this role.
