The role
As a Multimedia Designer you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will provide a Media Service in support of Babcock Training Delivery.
Day-to-day, you’ll:
Develop web-based/multimedia products to meet client requirements, priorities, and time frames that balance user needs with business goals and technical capabilities.
Develop visual and interaction elements of learning content along with production of high-quality photo-realistic 2D/3D assets
Liaise with clients to discuss and interpret their needs; push creativity, challenge established thinking and discover new and innovative ways of approaching (and solving) a problem
Present rationale for design choices; assure design meets business objectives as stated in design brief and advise and assist clients to generate and optimise their own digital media content
Ensure that all materials produced are appropriately compiled in line with relevant branding guidelines
Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies
Manage and maintain an electronic archive of all creative content
This role is full time, 37 hours and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the Multimedia Designer:
Degree level qualification focussing on Digital Media/Animation
Strong portfolio of successful creative projects, across different media types
Outstanding 3D modelling, rendering and texture skills
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
Proficient in Adobe After Effects/ (or similar)
Proficient in 3DS Max/Maya (or similar)
Proficient in Articulate Storyline, Captivate or similar rapid authoring tools
Experience developing content for Unity
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
