Global PR Manager – Max Factor
RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Global PR Manager, you are responsible for leading the management, development, and implementation of total PR, VIP and Event activities for MaxFactor cosmetics including building PR/VIP marketing strategies, with a strong focus on PR & Events to drive brand awareness, engagement and visibility globally.
Your main focus:
Global PR & VIP:
- Lead and execute all PR & VIP engagement plans globally, set the Global strategy & Support Model per fiscal to support the Global IMP / Blockbuster NPD. Drive success in market through PR & VIP programs which maximise press coverage, earned media, awareness and positive consumer engagement.
- Lead integrated PR / VIP activations & global calendar from strategy to brief to execution that are innovative, on-brand, and align all cross-functional activities to build Maxfactor’s brand equity and deliver business objectives globally. Deliver global PR toolkits, editorial calendars and VIP guidelines.
- Collaborate with global marketing in the development of compelling marketing messages and 360 plans and execute through the development of clear guidelines and toolkits.
- Track, analyze, and monitor monthly print press, digital & VIP coverage results, identifying key insights to optimize brand strategy. Set clear KPIs and measurement frameworks for PR/VIP activations and be able to articulate tangible business results to senior management.
- Support the Brand Equity and Integrated Communications team to define the consumer journey and create messaging strategy across all touchpoints in line with the MaxFactor Global brand direction. This will be done in strong partnership with the Global Innovation team. Ensure cohesive consumer experience across PR.
- Partner with Brand Equity & Creative to generate first-to-market campaign ideas and compelling content, ensuring team is briefed clearly and on time.
- Ensure that all marketing efforts leverage PR insights, address trends and serve the consumer and brand needs.
- Help develop insight and skills across the organization to ensure MaxFactor is innovative in PR & VIP engagement strategies.
- Champion internal culture aligned with brand vision.
- Manage budgeting needs; building investment priorities based on business objectives.
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity and activity within the competitive beauty landscape.
Global Events:
- Drive the acceleration of MaxFactor’s strategy to reach & recruit new audiences (Gen Z, Millennials)
- Build strategy and execute events fit that will create truly disruptive brand experiences that also have cut through on social media, focusing on increasing brand engagement metrics, sentiment and share of voice.
- Set business vision for events across Global & Local markets. Support "always-on" content development through events.
- Stay on top of trends, social media and industry developments, anticipating how to keep ahead of the curve.
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
As an experienced PR Manager you love working in a team and autonomously and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment.
Other than that, you:
- Have relevant beauty PR experience at global level
- Have a good network with media / journalists
- Experience in PR agency is a plus
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate across the organization at all level
- Have strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority and attention to details
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt well to change and multi-task
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing, and handling information of a confidential nature
