Work type: We have a permanent opportunity for a Product & Process Technical Optimiser to join the Bio-Resource department at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you? The current work pattern is working 37 hours, Monday to Sunday between 08.00 and 16.00 which will include working 1 in 5 weekends. Level 2 standby is a future potential requirement of the role, therefore flexibility outside of working core hours is essential.
Location: The Product & Process Technical Optimiser will cover Leeds region. Successful applicants would need to live with a reasonable commutable distance of our Knostrop wastewater treatment works.

The Product & Process Technical Optimiser will be accountable for the production performance of key Bio-Resource sites, and ensure maximum performance of sludge throughput, maximising energy generation and optimal chemical usage.
The Product & Process Technical Optimiser will also be a requirement to provide the site operations team with process expertise, training, and support to deliver operational excellence. This will be a combination of ‘hands on’ front line trouble shooting couples with desk top optimisation and production planning.
