Job Descrption

Salary & Benefits: Salary range £26,497.86 - £32,911.20 per annum dependant on experience, annual bonus, attractive pension scheme (Up to 10% company contribution), life assurance cover of 4 times pensionable salary and 25 days annual leave, 8 x bank holidays, plus a wellness day and development opportunities in line with the Resource & Asset Planner progression plan. Location: Bradford / Hybrid Working (3 x days in the office per week – Bradford)
 

Work type:  We have two positions available one permanent and one temporary opportunity for 12 x months.  Working full time,  37 hours per week, on a flexible shift pattern working Monday – Friday between a working window of 7:00am-4:30pm.
 

We currently have two exciting opportunities for Resource & Asset Planner’s to join the Clean Water Technical Team, which forms part of the wider Proactive and Technical Process Optimisation department in the Water Service Delivery Business Unit.

Where you fit in:
 

As our Resource & Asset Planner you will be expected to plan and manage the efficient and compliant allocation of Service Delivery resources using the corporate systems and procedures. 
 

You’ll be responsible for liaising with suppliers, ordering and scheduling chemical deliveries, ensuring that the procurement process runs smoothly from the initial ordering process through to receipt of the goods, whilst dealing with any discrepancies. 

 

You will monitor and allocate the day to day resource plan of the Field Team which will include prioritising workloads against the resource available in the field, being the single point of contact for internal and external customers and giving information on job progression where necessary. 

 

What skills & qualifications you will need:
 

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to influence and negotiate a wide range of people. You will de-velop and maintain excellent working relationships with your key stakeholders and demonstrate excellent customer service skills as you will be dealing with both in-ternal and external customers as part of the role.

 

You will be self-motivated and demonstrate rigorous attention to detail to ensure 'right first time' performance. You will be using a variety of IT systems within the role, therefore you will be a confident user of a variety of IT systems and in analys-ing and validating data. 

 

You will be able to take ownership of issues, seeing them through to resolution, being able to self-manage, even in difficult circumstances. Ideally you will also have an overall awareness of Health and Safety. 

 

Please note, a full UK Driving licence is required for this role and previous experience of resource management is also desirable.
